NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Shuttle service will be offered for Sunday’s dedication and open house at the new Neenah High School.
Expecting a large turnout, the school district says it will run shuttle buses from Lot B of the former high school (now Neenah Middle School), 1275 Tullar Rd., beginning at 2 p.m. Shuttles to the new school will depart every 15 minutes, with the last one leaving at 5:15 p.m. The last return shuttle will depart Neenah High School at 6:15 p.m.
Parking for about 1,100 vehicles will be available at the high school, 500 Rocket Way. All traffic will be directed to enter off Winchester Road (County II) and exit to Larsen Road. Additional on-street parking will be available. Bicycle access is also available from the County II bike path. No vehicles will be permitted to enter the site after 5:30 p.m.
Doors to the event open at 2:30 p.m. Guests should enter on the south side of the building near the football stadium.
The event begins with a dedication ceremony at 3 p.m. in the competition gym. After that, visitors will be able to take self-guided tours of the building.
Voters authorized building the new Neenah High School by passing a $115 million referendum in 2020.
