GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — No one was hurt after a vehicle crashed into the side of an apartment building on Green Bay’s west side.
Crews were called to 1480 Western Avenue around noon Monday for a report of SUV vs. building crash.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle were not injured and the resident living inside the first-floor apartment was not home at the time of the crash.
Residents of the apartment building were evacuated until the building could be stabilized.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Technical Rescue Team were called to the scene to aid in emergency shoring, which is constructed beams positioned in the building to prevent any further collapse.
As a result of the crash, one person is displaced.
Officials did not say what caused the SUV to crash into the apartment building.
