MINNEAPOLIS, MN. (WTAQ) – Former Green Bay Packers Pro-Bowl edge rusher Za’Darius Smith is staying in the NFC North.
Smith has reportedly signed a 3-year, $42 million deal with the Minnesota Vikings. Smith reportedly backed out of a deal to return to the Baltimore Ravens late last week.
Za’Darius Smith agreed to terms with the #Vikings, source said.

He’ll pair up with another dominant defensive force in Danielle Hunter. However, Smith only played one game last season due to injury. Hunter has only played seven games over the last two seasons for the same reasons.
The Packers saved almost $15 million in cap space by cutting Smith this offseason.
