GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Staffing shortages have forced three Green Bay Area Public School District schools to conduct virtual instruction through Thursday.
The district says Minoka High School Program and Washington Middle School will continue with remote learning. Both schools made the transition last week.
Meanwhile, Franklin Middle School will move to virtual learning. The school will have what the district calls an asynchronous learning day today, with virtual learning on Wednesday and Thursday.
Those in the Minoka High School Programs are asked to call the school if they want to pick up a meal. Washington students can pick up meals at the back door from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m, while Franklin students can pick up meals at Door No. 4 from 10:37 a.m.-12:54 p.m.
Co-curricular activities will continue as scheduled unless communicated otherwise, according to the district.
All three schools will not be in session Friday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The district hopes students can return to in-person learning on January 18th.
