GILLETT, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Students in the Gillett School District were placed on secure hold Thursday morning for a few hours while police dealt with a “situation” in town.
No further details on the type of situation were released.
The school said the safest place for students was inside the buildings.
Once the secure hold was lifted, the school day proceeded as normal.
