The following is a list of events taking place in Northeast Wisconsin to commemorate the anniversary:
Door County 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
- Saturday at 7 a.m. in Sturgeon Bay
- Participants will climb the Jim Kress Maritime Lighthouse Tower, a 10-story fire escape stairwell, 10 times, providing an opportunity to better understand the challenges first responders faced at the World Trade Center.
- Those who want to participate must register in advance online.
9/11: A Day to Remember
- Saturday in Appleton
- Beginning at 8:45 a.m., the time when the first plane struck the World Trade Center, a procession from Fire Station #1 to City Park will take place.
- At 9:03 a.m., the time when the second plane struck the World Trade Center, a commemorative ceremony will take place at City Park. The event will include music, remarks from city leaders and traditional memorial tributes.

9/11 Memorial Event and Dedication
- Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Red Arrow Park in Manitowoc
- There will be a dedication of the Flowering Pear Tree that was planted as a seeding from the only surviving tree at ground zero.
- Christine Snyder, who was killed on Flight 93, will also be remembered.
9/11 Tribute Ceremony at Fall Heritage Festival
- Saturday from 10-11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Menasha
- A commemorative event will pay homage for those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.

9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Lambeau Field
- Saturday at 9 a.m.
- Participants will climb the steps of Lambeau Field in honor of the 343 firefighters killed on 9/11. Climbers will ascend the equivalent of 110 stories, the height of the World Trade Center towers.
