GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Despite the distance between runners, the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon is Making A Difference.
This year’s event was held virtually, but that didn’t stop the community.
Participants who completed a total of 100 miles by running, walking or biking earned a metal.
More than $75,000 were raised. On Wednesday, the funds were distributed to Green Bay nonprofits.

“So they support the operational costs that it would take to run the program. So that’s what we’ll be using that money for.”
Donations were also presented to Paul’s Pantry, the NEW Community Shelter and several other nonprofits.
