NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A suspect in a Neenah murder made her initial court appearance Tuesday.
Terran Colwell, 29, is charged with felony murder in connection with the April 17 death of Rodger Ridgeway.
While she was charged in April, she was arrested in Minnesota and then extradited to Wisconsin. Bond was set Tuesday at $500,000 cash. She returns to court Monday for a preliminary hearing, court records show.
Mandel Roy is also charged in the incident. His arraignment is June 14.
According to the criminal complaint, Roy’s mother got into a confrontation with those inside a bar. After he arrived, there was another altercation, and Ridgeway was stabbed.
“The evidence obtained by Neenah Police Department investigators shows that Mandel Roy began fighting with (Ridgeway), committing at least a battery, using a blunt weapon. Terran Colwell also became involved in the fight, likely stabbing (Ridgeway) with a knife, causing injuries that resulted in (Ridgeway)’s death. Roy and Colwell continued to fight with (Ridgeway) even after his apparent attempts to get away,” Roy’s criminal complaint states.
A third man, Charles Hoofman, was charged with possession of a firearm by an outstate felon due to information developed during the investigation. He is not charged in direct connection with Ridgeway’s death.
