GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Police are looking for 22-year-old Christian Hartman in connection to an alleged sexual assault in the city. Hartman allegedly had a weapon as he assaulted an adult acquaintance early Sunday morning.
“During the investigation, we thought we had him at the address along Shawano Avenue. He was armed, so our SWAT team came in to serve that search warrant,” said Commander Paul Ebel.
Hartman was not located during that search. Ebel says he may have left the scene on a BMX-style bike. But even then, it’s possible he could’ve left the area.
“We are looking for him. He has very few contacts in the Green Bay area, and we’ve never had contact with him that I’m aware of,” Ebel told WTAQ News. “[But] a friend of his went and picked him up and brought him to Green Bay. So he does have some contacts. We’re trying to track him down, we’re hoping to get him into custody. He may have fled back to Illinois, we don’t know.”
Hartman is described as having black hair, brown eyes, 5’6″ tall, and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt. If you see him, call 911 immediately.
