What a wild week. Rather than telling you what you should and shouldn’t do, I ask that you please get informed (from trusted sources), DON’T PANIC, or hoard and if you are able to, take a step back and stay home.
My two cents: This is nothing to take lightly, however, take the extra time you have to read, relax, re charge, re connect with loved ones, get things done around the house. We are always too busy, so some downtime may not be all that bad for any of us.
That’s all 🙂
Here’s my weekend in pictures
Friday: I did the afternoon show and we were just bums for the rest of the night.
Saturday: Crystal and I decided instead of gifts for Christmas/Birthdays etc. that we want to try new things. My Birthday is this week and I wanted to give Cryotherapy a shot at Cryotherapy of Wisconsin – Appleton. It was cool. No pun inteded.
After our cryotherapy session we grabbed some lunch. As much as I enjoy fancy dinners and nights out, I also love me some soul food. We went to the Cozzy Corner and boy oh boy did we get comfort food. It was delicious southern cookin’. Ribs, Catfish and Chicken.
Sunday: Outside and fresh air isn’t shut down so we took advantage of the sunshine!
Side note: We actually needed groceries this weekend. Crystal went Friday night at like 9pm specifically just to avoid the madness. Here’s what she encountered at Meijer.
Flip side – What she couldn’t get Friday I stopped at Festival for on Sunday. It was like 2 different worlds. Festival wasn’t madness at all, there was plenty of toilet paper and people were kind and courteous.
I hope this passes and we can get back to what we all enjoy doing. Until then, enjoy time with your family, your time at home and say a prayer for those dealing with this first hand.
