ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Expect new video boards at Lambeau Field in the near future.
In his monthly Q&A column, team president Mark Murphy answered a question about why the team didn’t add ribbon boards when the south end zone was expanded – he said they would look “cluttered” – and then added this comment:
“We plan to replace the videoboards within the next few years,” he wrote.
No timeframe, costs or other plans were specified.
A team spokesman later said there are no problems with the scoreboards, but they are coming to end of their lifespan.
No other details were provided about the project.
