OMRO, WI (WTAQ) – Winnebago County authorities are looking for a person who may have information regarding what is now being considered a double homicide in the Town of Omro.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 33-year-old Michael Draine. It is believed that Draine has information related to the deaths of 35-year-old Melissa Clark and 40-year-old Lavar Wallace at an Omro home earlier this week. A second person believed to know something about the case is already in custody on an unrelated matter.
Police maintain that it was not a random act, and that the public is not in danger. At this time, police say the investigation remains very active and ongoing. Anyone who believes that they have relevant information, or knows where Draine is located, is strongly encouraged to contact the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office at 920-236-7300.
