(LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers face the New York Jets tomorrow afternoon in East Rutheford, New Jersey and Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is ready to go.
He said that he is anxious to play Sunday, snap their 6-game losing streak that dates back to last year.
Kraft talked about facing former Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, now the head coach of the Jets.
Kraft talked about what needs to be the team’s mindset to break the 6-game slide.
Kraft said that its’s great to have the new contract (4 years) out of the way.
Kraft showed his confidence in stating all Jordan Love has to do is “get me the ball, I’ll get a first down.”
Kraft addressed what the Packers offense needs to do to prevent a fourth-quarter meltdown like last week against the Vikings.
On the defensive side of the ball, Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon talked about the six straight losses dating back to last year and said that it hasn’t affected their confidence.
Nixon talked about playing against Jets quarterback Gino Smith.
Nixon also talked about the Jonathan Gannon defense of the Packers.
Weather: The National Weather Service said that there will be periods of showers on Sunday in East Rutheford, New Jersey with a high around 70. Winds should be southerly but less than 10 miles per hour.
