(GREEN BAY ATHLETICS) DAYTON, OHIO – The Green Bay men’s soccer team fell 3-1 on the road against Wright State on Saturday at Alumni Field. The two teams were tied at half before the Raiders’ two second-half goals secured three points for the hosts.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Wright State started the scoring early, when Gabe Gotting scored in the 18th minute, assisted by Daniel Panait. The Phoenix responded to tie it on a goal from Noah Radeke — his third goal of the season — in the 35th minute.
The two teams battled at the start of the second 45 before the Raiders found a go-head goal in the 70th minute. Cairo Duarte gave Wright State the lead, assisted by Djafar Al Badawi and Tedrick Neptune. WSU tacked on to that lead just a minute later, when Maximilian Banfi put home a pass from Djafar Al Badawi.

- Green Bay received four yellow cards, while Wright State had three.
- Drew Swancutt totaled four saves for the Phoenix out of 13 total Raiders’ shots.
- Green Bay scored one unassisted goal.
