TOWN OF SILVER CLIFF, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An effort to recall the Chairperson for the Town of Silver Cliff failed Tuesday night.
A petition to remove current chairperson Deanna Farley was organized by a resident who claimed Farley was “negligent” in her duties.
Among the reasons cited, was a lapse in the town’s insurance last March which caused all of the town’s municipal facilities to temporarily shut down.
However, Farley will retain her seat after she won the election by more than 51%.
Final vote totals:
Dee Farley – 154
Christopher Norton – 91
Jim Bougie – 33
She will now finish the remainder of her two-year term, which concludes in April 2027.
