(WTAQ-WLUK) — The latest Marquette University Law School Poll released Wednesday shows Francesca Hong has expanded her lead in Wisconsin’s Democratic gubernatorial primary.
The primary is Aug. 11, and the winner will face presumptive Republican nominee U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany in November. Democratic Gov. Tony Evers is retiring.
This new survey was conducted from July 22-27 interviewing 407 Wisconsin Democratic primary voters with a margin of error of 6.6 percentage points. It was released one week after a Marquette poll showed Hong in the lead, but that data was gathered during major campaign upheaval.
The new poll shows Hong with 38 percent of support, and 34 percent of voters are undecided. Mandela Barnes has 16 percent support, followed by David Crowley with seven percent, Joel Brennan with two percent and Kelda Roys with two percent.
