(ST NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) – DE PERE – Nine St. Norbert College track and field and cross country student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District team.
Five women made the cut, while four men also claimed their spots.
Juniors Alli Clark, Madi Crossman, Eden Maranell and Katie Smith along with sophomore Madison Gramblicka were named from the women’s team.
Senior Ezra Schermacher and juniors Lars Huffman and Christian Lopez and sophomore Jacob McVane were named from the men’s team.
Clark, a Ladysmith native and graduate, has a 4.00 grade point average in nursing.
Crossman, a Tomahawk native and Merrill High School graduate, holds a 3.76 grade point average in business administration.
Maranell, a Howards Grove native and graduate, has a 3.77 grade point average in biology. She was a first-team All-American in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championship and a second-team All-American in the heptathlon at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship.
Smith, a De Pere native and West De Pere High School graduate, has a 3.60 grade point average in art.
Gramblicka, a Franklin native and graduate, has a 3.87 grade point average in biology.
Schermacher, a Plymouth native and graduate, has a 3.94 grade point average in biology. Schermacher was a second-team All-American in the pole vault at both the NCAA Division III Indoor and Outdoor Championships.
Huffman, a Mackinaw City native and graduate, has a 3.56 grade point average in environmental science.
Lopez, a Northlake, Ill., native, and West Leyden High School graduate, has a 3.60 grade point average in communications.
McVane, a Green Bay native and Ashwaubenon High School graduate, holds a 3.56 grade point average in business administration.
