(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers will try to salvage the third game of their three-game weekend series in Atlanta against the Braves Sunday afternoon after dropping the first 2 games of the series.
The Brewers will send Robert Gasser to the mound. Gasser is 0-3 with a 4.88 ERA.
The Braves will counter with Bryce Elder who is 5-4 with a 3.15 ERA.
In Saturday’s 4-3 loss to Atlanta, Ozzie Albies hit a 2-run home run off of Aaron Ashby in the ninth inning to defeat Milwaukee.
Albies had snapped a 0-0 game in the fifth inning, hitting a solo home run off Brewers starting pitcher Kyle Harrison.
The Brewers tied the game in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly by Gary Sanchez and took a 2-1 lead on an RBI single by Andrew Vaughn.
A groundout in the seventh inning scored Cooper Pratt to make it 3-1 Milwaukee.
Atlanta got a run back in the seventh when Albies scored on a ground out, setting up the dramatic finish.
