(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers scored 4 runs in the ninth and 4 in the tenth to defeat the Colorado Rockies 9-7 at Coors Field in Denver on Friday.
In the tenth, Jake Bauers drove in 2 runs with a single to center with Garrett Mitchell and Sal Frelick each singling in runs.
Milwaukee scored its 4 runs in the ninth inning on a single by Bauers, a double by Frelick and a 2-run single by Andrew Vaughn
Bauers had 3 hits and 3 RBI for Milwaukee. Frelick had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Vaughn also drove in 2 runs.
Trevor Megill who gave up 2 runs in the ninth inning to send the game to extra innings got the win for Milwaukee.
Brandon Sproat started and allowed 7 hits and 3 runs over 5 innings.
The two teams will meet again tonight.
Jacob Misiorowski will pitch for the Brewers. He is 6-2 with a 1.65 ERA. Colorado has not announced its starting pitcher.
