(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – After dropping 2 of 3 games to the Los Angeles Dodgers over the weekend at American Family Field, the Milwaukee Brewers got back in the win column on Monday.
Milwaukee beat the St. Louis Cardinals 5-1 at home.
Christian Yelich blasted a two-run homer to lead the offense while Andrew Vaughn went 3-for-4.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Vaughn who is batting .333.
Jacob Misiorowski threw 57 pitches at 100 miles per hour or faster on his way to 12 strikeouts over seven innings to earn the win.
