(ST NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) DE PERE – St. Norbert College junior Ezra Schermacher has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference’s Field Athlete of the Week, announced today by the conference office.
Schermacher, a Plymouth native and graduate, was named the Men’s Field Athlete of the NACC Outdoor Championship, claiming three event wins. On Friday, he won the pole vault clearing 14 feet 11 inches before winning the high jump (6 feet 5 inches) and long jump (22 feet 10 inches) on Saturday.
The award is his fifth of the season and his 14th overall.
