GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man is in custody after two people were injured in an attack with an edged weapon in Green Bay.
Around 5:15 a.m. Monday, police were called to the 900 block of Edgewood Drive for a weapons call.
When officers arrived, they rendered first aid to two victims, a 23-year-old Green Bay man and a 26-year-old Green Bay woman. The victims sustained cuts in the attack and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police learned the suspect, who was known to the victims, had left the scene before their arrival.
The 29-year-old Green Bay–area man was later detained around 8:35 a.m. during a traffic stop.
He was brought to the Green Bay Police Department for questioning, then later arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail.
The incident remains under investigation.
