(WLUK) — Northeast Wisconsin school districts impacted by flooding are releasing plans ahead of the next school week.
The School District of Shiocton announced schools, the fitness center and Shiocton Child Care Center will remain closed Monday.
In a post on Facebook, the school district said no school will be held Monday. Virtual learning will not be held.
With Shiocton schools remaining closed, the district also encouraged residents to assist in recovery efforts.
Weyauwega Fremont School District will hold in-person classes Monday. All classes will be held at Weyauwega campuses.
Weyauwega-Fremont Middle School and High School are both in Weyauwega, meaning the only schools which need to move students are Fremont Elementary School and Fremont Stem Academy.
The School District of New London announced it will hold no in-person classes or after-school activities Monday and Tuesday.
Instead, students will “fulfill at-home learning expectations as established by building-level administration and classroom teachers.”
Hortonville High School closed Friday afternoon to allow the school to act as a shelter for those in Shiocton.
In an update on Facebook Sunday afternoon, the Hortonville Area School District announced the shelter will close at 7:00 a.m. Monday so school can return to session.
