VIROQUA, Wis. ― Entries are now open for the 27th Annual Wisconsin Jersey Spring
Spectacular, set to take place May 1-2 at the Vernon County Fairgrounds in Viroqua, Wis.
This prestigious event gathers registered Jersey cattle from across the Midwest, providing breeders an opportunity to showcase their finest cattle and compete for top honors.
Tom Arrowsmith of Peachbottom, PA will judge the show. The event kicks off on Friday, May 1, at 3:00 p.m. with showmanship. On Saturday, May 2, the cattle show will begin at 9:00 a.m. with winter heifers, followed by milking classes at 12:30 p.m. New this year, there will be a Winter Senior 2-year-old class.
Entry forms are now available for interested exhibitors. Early registration includes a $20
exhibitor fee and a $10 per animal charge for entries postmarked on or before April 17.
Entries submitted between April 18-24 will be $25 per animal. After this deadline, late
entries will be accepted at the show for $100 per head.
The Wisconsin Jersey Spring Spectacular consistently draws cattle and attendees from
Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and beyond, with up to 500 attendees in previous
Years.
In addition to the cattle show, the event will feature a silent auction, with proceeds
supporting the operation of the show. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for
individuals, organizations, and businesses looking to support this long-standing tradition
and gain visibility within the agricultural community.
Organized entirely by dedicated volunteers, the Wisconsin Jersey Spring Spectacular
