Pedestrian killed in Oconto County hit and run

TOWN OF LITTLE RIVER, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The search continues for a driver involved in a deadly hit and run.

The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office says around 11:45 p.m. Monday it was notified of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash with injuries on US Highway 41 and County Highway A in the the Town of Little River.

When deputies arrived, they found a man in the center of the northbound lanes of US Highway 41.

The man was not moving.

Investigators say a vehicle traveling north on US Highway 41 hit the 20-year-old man from Oconto and then left the scene, heading north.
