GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The need for workers at 1265 Lombardi Avenue is growing as the Green Bay Packers add more events to their calendar.
New part-time and seasonal employees in guest services and security are in high demand, as well as part-time and gameday roles with Delaware North Sportservice, the Packers’ food and beverage service provider.
“Our guest services team helps people navigate throughout Lambeau Field, making sure that questions are answered. Our security team screens fans as they’re visiting, entering into Lambeau Field and making sure they have a safe experience while they’re with us,” said Chris Cohorst, the Packers’ human resources manager.
The organization is hosting two walk-in job fairs to recruit employees. A variety of positions are available for job-seekers who want to be part of upcoming events at Lambeau Field, including the Luke Combs concerts in May, the Notre Dame-Wisconsin game this fall and Packers games next season.
“We’re staffing a little earlier than normal. Typically, we host our job fairs later in spring and during the summer, getting ready for our games. However, with the concert coming here earlier, we’re starting this process a little bit earlier,” Cohorst said.
We always have a great number of returning staff, but always have openings for people who want to join our organization. And obviously, because of the additional events outside of the game days — the concert, we’ve got the Wisconsin-Notre Dame game in September, so there’s more opportunities for more hours.
The job fairs will be held March 24 and March 31 from 4-6 p.m. at the Johnsonville Tailgate Village. On-site interviews will be conducted.
Applicants may park in Lambeau Field Lot 4 on the east side of the stadium, adjacent to Oneida Street, and enter the Johnsonville Tailgate Village on the south side of the building.
Job-seekers must be at least 16 years old for guest services and security positions. Qualifications include strong verbal communication and conversation skills, trouble-shooting skills, ability to stay focused on job responsibilities and ability to stand throughout the entire shift. Individuals seeking gameday roles must be available for all home games, any potential playoff games and other Lambeau Field events as needed.
If you’re unable to attend either job fair, you can apply for any position online.
