TOWN OF OAK GROVE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Authorities say an Appleton man was killed in a crash in Dodge County Thursday afternoon.
Just before 2:30 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision on County Highway A at County Highway W in the town of Oak Grove. Investigators believe an SUV was traveling eastbound on County Highway W when it failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a semi hauling an empty milk tank trailer.
The driver of the SUV, a 63-year-old man from Appleton, was ejected from his vehicle. Lifesaving measures were attempted, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 64-year-old Reedsville man was driving the semi. He was not injured.
The name of the man who died was not released. The crash is still under investigation.
