Quinn Priester will begin the year on the injured list after he was diagnosed with a nerve issue related tothoracic outlet syndrome that is causing pain in his wrist.
Priester went 13-and-3 with a 3.32 ERA last season.
On the field: The Brewers lost 1-0 the Cleveland Guardians in Goodyear on Thursday.

Cleveland scored the game’s only run off Brewers starting pitcher DL Hall in the first innning.
