(247NEWSSOURCE) BOSTON – The Boston Red Sox held off the Brewers with a 3-2 victory to even their three-game series from Fenway Park at one apiece.
Garrett Crochet earned his first win of the season after allowing two runs while striking out seven.
Crochet says he took this start extra seriously.
Boston had been on a three-game skid.
Jacob Misiorowski suffered the loss after allowing three runs on two hits and four walks.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora says Jacob Misiorowski was on his game early.
Milwaukee was seeking its third straight win.
The final game of the series will be played at noon Wednesday and cna be heard on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
