| March 9, 2026 – Chelsea Good, founder of Good & Associates, will lead a session at the Animal Agriculture Alliance’s 2026 Stakeholders Summit discussing why animal agriculture cannot opt out of political advocacy. The 2026 Summit, themed “High Steaks: Navigating Pressure on Animal Protein,” is set for May 5-7 in Kansas City, Mo. Early bird registration rates are extended through March 6, offering savings up to $100. Register here.
Animal agriculture is facing unprecedented political, cultural, and public scrutiny—and silence is not an option. Good’s session will reframe high-profile challenges as catalysts for smarter, more proactive advocacy, drawing on recent industry experiences to illustrate why engagement must begin before issues escalate. Attendees will leave with a practical roadmap for managing risk through early relationship-building, coordinated messaging, and strategic preparedness, and will learn how proactive, positive engagement can transform political pressure into momentum for resilience, unity, and long-term progress.
“The political sphere is increasingly being leveraged by animal rights activist organizations and other adversarial groups to target animal agriculture,” said Emily Ellis, director, communications and marketing, Animal Agriculture Alliance. “As pressures mount, it’s more important now than ever that the agriculture community is prepared to tackle oncoming challenges. We look forward to hearing Chelsea’s years of insight in this arena to identify best practices and action steps moving forward.”
