GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Green Bay is showing off its new space that aims to curb violence through creative programs.
The city of Green Bay’s Office of Violence Prevention (OVP) held its grand opening of its new space at 617 N. Irwin Avenue Monday.
The new space was made possible through a partnership with the Green Bay Area Public School District and the Medical College of Wisconsin. It features a state-of-the-art recording studio, lending library, video production tools, and interactive workshops aimed at building life skills in collaboration with mission-aligned community organizations.
The OVP team employs the Rewire CBT approach, a proven method developed by the Roca Impact Institute in Massachusetts, to engage participants in meaningful activities and life coaching.
