(UW ATHLETICS) MADISON, Wis. โ The Wisconsin softball team (25-16, 7-8) took the game two loss to Indiana this Saturday, falling 14-1 in five innings.
Wisconsin fell out of the game early, finding itself down 8-1 after two innings. Back-to-back Hoosier doubles plated three runs in the first inning, before IU chased starter Gabi Salo out of the game with five runs in the second.
Indiana tacked on six more runs in the game, including a five run fifth inning to push the game into run-rule territory. Ultimately, winning the game 14-1.
Wisconsinโs lone run came in the bottom of the second โ a solo home run from Emily Bojan.
The Badgers went 0-5 with the bases loaded, stranding all three runners in both the second and third innings.
Gabi Salo (12-8) took the loss, pitching 1.2 innings. Jordan Felci and Mattie Beliveau each made appearances.
Batting Cleanup
- Goodman Diamondโs attendance today was 1,108, the highest total since April 15, 2023 when 1,200 attendees came out to see Wisconsin take on Northwestern.
- Alivia Bark went 2-for-3. She is 15-for-22 in home games this season.
- Emily Bojan went 1-for-3 with a solo home run โ her fourth of the season.
- Molly Schlosserโs hit streak ended at 12 games โ the longest of her career.
