APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) โ This week is the busiest for incoming and outgoing flights associated with spring break 2025 at Appleton International Airport (ATW).
The number of inbound and outbound flights is up 24% from 2024 and airlines serving the airport have 26% more seats this year than last year.
Florida and Arizona destinations top all flights with more than 7,000 seats available to destinations including nonstop flights to Fort Myers, St. Petersburg, Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Orlando, Sarasota, Phoenix, and Mesa.
โWe have more people choosing to fly out of Appleton because our carriers are investing in more nonstop routes to popular destinations,โ said Hollie Foley, marketing and brand manager for the airport. โThis year, we have more flights to and from Florida and Arizona than weโve ever had in the history of the airport.โ
From March 23-30, 203 flights will take off or land at the airport.
