Man gets five years probation for Manitowoc unarmed gas station robbery

MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Justin Smith was placed on probation for five years for the robbery of a gas station.

Smith, 22, was also ordered to pay $1,380 in restitution by Judge Mark Rohrer at Thursday’s hearing, court records show.

The incident happened May 9 at the BP gas station on Calumet Avenue.

Officials said Smith did not display a weapon during the robbery, and left the scene with $1,380.
