(WTAQ-WLUK) — A fan-favorite “Jeopardy!” champion will be back on your TV screen next week.
Green Bay native and St. Norbert College philosophy professor Ben Chan is competing in the game show’s second annual Invitational Tournament on FOX 11. Chan will appear on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
27 players — all champions from past seasons — are vying for a $150,000 grand prize and a chance to compete in the upcoming “Jeopardy! Masters” show.
Players will compete across nine quarterfinal games, three semifinals and a multiple-game finals series. The first player to win two games will be crowned the JIT champion.
Chan was a nine-game champion during Season 39, earning himself a spot in last year’s “Jeopardy!” Tournament of Champions, in which he finished as first runner-up.
“Jeopardy!” airs at 6 p.m. weeknights on FOX 11.
