Give BIG Green Bay
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — It’s a wrap on year 8 of Give BIG Green Bay.
A record total of 5,865 donors contributed to the 24 hour fundraising event from noon on Wednesday to noon on Thursday; giving a combined $3,518,764 to 50 area non-profit organizations.
“This has been so phenomenal,” said Kari Olsen with the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. “We are so excited about the amount of new donors that are giving, and the amounts that these non-profits are raising.”
House of Hope Green Bay, Inc. raised the most money at $240,956 from 417.

To make the impact go even further, this year there’s $500,000 in matching funds and incentives.
Of those matching and incentive funds, the Green Bay Packers Foundation is providing $250,000.
Organizers say not only does the event help raise money for these nonprofits, but it builds awareness by highlighting their work and important roles in the community.
