(WIAC) – UW-La Crosse junior JJ Paider from Neenah has been named the WIAA/Kwik Trip basketball player of the week.
Paider who plays forward averaged 17.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals in two games during the week, shooting 76.5% (13-of-17) from the field and 90.0% (nine-of-10) at the free throw line. He recorded his sixth double-double of the season and 10th of his career with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a victory at UW-Stout on Jan. 15.
Paider went seven-of-11 from the field and six-of-six at the line. He finished with 15 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists in a win over UW-Oshkosh on Jan. 18, going six-of-six from the field and three-of-four at the line.
