(247NEWSSOURCE) – Wisconsin basketball returns to the hardwood tomorrow night.
The team tips off against UCLA from Los Angeles.
The Badgers are coming off a big win over USC where John Blackwell led all scorers with 28 points and grabbed five rebounds.
Max Klesmit sunk 18 and dished out four assists as Wisconsin won its seventh straight game and improved to 15-and-3 on the season.
There will be lawyers: Wisconsin football is accusing Miami of foul play.
The school issued a statement on Saturday expressing disagreement with how the Hurricanes handled the transfer of Xavier Lucas.
The defensive back left the Badgers without officially entering the portal.
The Badgers contested the transfer request after the organization signed a binding two-year NIL agreement with the player.
Orzol gers Academic All-America honors: For the second-straight year, Wisconsin volleyball’s Julia Orzol was named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America, announced by the CSC.
In 2023, Orzol was named Third Team Academic All-American, but this season, Orzol bumped up to a Second Team honoree, becoming just the second multi-year Academic All-American in program history. The six-foot outside hitter is on the Badger shortlist with Sydney Hilley and Lauren Carlini of those who earned the prestigious honor.
Orzol wrapped up her academic career with a 3.94 GPA and a degree in Business. On the court, Orzol earned Second Team All-Big Ten in her final year. She finished third on the team with 2.07 kills per set, while starting and playing in all 120 sets in 33 matches. The Polish native also led the team with 40 service aces and chipped in with 2.31 digs per set.
After graduating this last December, Orzol signed a professional volleyball contract with LOTTO Chemik Police in Poland.
