OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Anthony Hendricks was ordered Thursday to stand trial for allegedly shooting two people, including his younger brother.
Hendricks, 17, faces six charges, including first-degree reckless injury for the Nov. 29 incident on Bell Street.
After testimony at a preliminary hearing Thursday, Hendricks was bound over for trial. Arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 3, court records show.
According to the criminal complaint, Neenah police were called to an apartment on Bell Street on Nov. 29 for a report of shots fired. One man had been shot four times, while the 11-year-old — Hendricks’ younger brother — was shot once.
One witness told police the adult victim arrived at Hendricks’ apartment, and was told to leave. Eventually, Hendricks retrieved a “Taurus G2C,” shot the adult, and then accidentally shot the boy, the complaint states.
Another witness said he thought Hendricks’ action were in self defense, as the adult victim’s associates were pointing guns at Hendricks.
Police also seized drugs from the apartment.
