(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur met with the media Wednesday in advance of Sunday’s Wild Card playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The first thing LaFleur addressed was how much last year’s playoff experience will factor into Sunday’s game against the Eagles.
Quarterback Jordan Love said that last year’s playoff experience helps.
Love talked about what last year’s playoff win over Dallas did for him.
Love talked about the lack of momentum heading into Sunday’s game.
And he talked about playing in Philadelphia in what will be a less-than-friendly environment.
Beast of a running back: LaFleur talked about dealing with the Eagles’ Saquon Barkley who rushed for over 2,000 yards and 13 touchdowns. He talked about Barkley’s ability in the pass game. Barkley caught 33 passes for 278 yards and 2 touchdowns.
But LaFleur said that Barkley is just one piece of the puzzle in slowing down the Eagles.
LaFleur talked about the run defense against Barkley.
Who’s hurting: On the Packers injury report, Zayne Anderson, TJ Slaton and Christian Walker did not participate in practice. Thos,e listed as having limited participation included Javon Bullard, Edgerrin Cooper, Brenton Cox, Andre Dillard, Jordan Love, Quay Walker, Evan Williams and Malik Willis.
