GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Green Bay man was arrested after allegedly stabbing a woman on New Year’s Eve.
Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1600 block of Harold Street around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday for a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers rendered first aid to the victim, a 57-year-old Green Bay woman. She was then taken to a hospital for treatment.
The suspect left the scene before officers arrived.
Later that day, the 38-year-old suspect was taken into custody during a traffic stop in another jurisdiction by a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper.
The suspect was brought back to Green Bay for questioning and eventually taken to the Brown County Jail.
Police say they will be referring charges to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
