ALLOUEZ, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A semi hit the underside of the Highway 172 bridge along Riverside Drive Monday morning.
The truck was headed southbound and appeared to have hit the beams across Riverside Drive. The crash happened about 9:41 a.m., according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Dept.
The truck had an oversized load and the driver was unfamiliar with the road, according to Lt. Jason McAuly.
As of 11 a.m., traffic camera show both directions of Riverside Drive are closed.
The DOT says a bridge inspector is headed to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
