“The next leader of UW-Oshkosh must be prepared to embrace the opportunities and challenges facing the university as it pursues financial sustainability and academic renewal – all while focusing on student success,” said Amy B. Bogost, President of the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents.
The committee is expected to convene soon and will determine and interview candidates. A team of staff from Universities of Wisconsin Administration Human Resources, the Office of the Board of Regents, and the executive search firm of Storbeck Search/DSG Global will assist the committee throughout this search process.
A Special Regent Committee will review candidates forwarded by the Search and Screen Committee. The Special Regent Committee will include Regents Rai, Adongo, Goitom, Kreuser, Nixon, and Walsh and will be chaired by Rai.
The successful candidate will require the approval of the full Board of Regents.
This comes after University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Chancellor Andrew Leavitt resigned last month.
