ELDORADO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Authorities are still looking for the driver of a vehicle that led law enforcement on high speed chases in three area counties.
It started Sunday at 10:35 a.m. when a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over a car on I-41 near Lone Elm Road in the town of Eldorado.
The vehicle moved over to the shoulder as if it were going to pull over before increasing its speed and leading the deputy on a pursuit.
The pursuit went north on I-41 into Winnebago County and got off at State Highway 21, just before a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper had tire deflation devices out.
The vehicle continued traveling west on State Highway 21 before being terminated at Leonard Point Road in Winnebago County.
The pursuit lasted a total of 12.5 miles and resulted in no injuries or property damage.
This same vehicle led the Wisconsin State Patrol on a pursuit a short time later in Green Lake County. This pursuit was also terminated.
Through investigation, law enforcement has leads to a potential driver of the vehicle.
