GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. announced it will induct Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy at the 54th Hall of Fame Induction Banquet.
Murphy is currently finishing his 17th year and his tenure as team President and CEO.
During his time with the Packers, the team saw many milestones. The Packers have made 12 playoff appearances, including eight straight years advancing to NFC title games between 2009 and 2016. The Packers also won Super Bowl XLV under Murphy.
He is credited with directing the Packers organization’s plan to expand the Lambeau Field campus, including the creation of Titletown and bringing numerous outside events using Lambeau Field such as the 2025 NFL Draft.
Mark Murphy will be the 171st person inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame. He will retire as President and CEO in July 2025 when he turns 70 years old, which is required by Packers organizational by-laws. He will be succeeded by Packers Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel Ed Policy at that time.
While former players are required to be retired for at least four seasons before they are eligible for induction into the team’s Hall of Fame, other contributors are eligible for induction at any time, The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. says.
