GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A downtown Green Bay bridge will be closed next Thursday for maintenance activities.
According to the Green Bay Public Works Department, the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge is set to close to vehicles and pedestrians Nov. 21 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It will be closed east of the Fox River on Main Street at North Washington Street and closed west of the Fox River on Dousman Street at North Broadway.
The detour will utilize North Broadway, East Walnut Street and North Monroe Avenue. Motorists should anticipate back-ups and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
Officials say access to residences and businesses will be maintained.
All closures, detours, and work operations are subject to change.
