MILWAUKEE – St. Norbert received 308 points and 2 first-place votes in the NACC preseason poll, as voted on by the head coaches and sports information professionals of the league.
Wisconsin Lutheran is once again a heavy favorite to win the conference receiving 335 points and 24 of the first-place tallies. St. Norbert grabbed the final two first-place votes finishing second with 308 points. A steep drop off followed with Benedictine taking third at 246. Concordia Wisconsin finished eight points ahead of Aurora and Rockford who each had 209 points. Concordia Chicago finished eighth at 148 followed by Edgewood with 127.
Dominican and Illinois closed out the final schools with more than 100 points at 110 and 114. Marian and Lakeland rounded out the poll with 77 and 55 points, respectively.
The top eight teams will qualify for the NACC Tournament with the winner of the single-elimination bracket earning the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
