TOWN OF LIBERTY GROVE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person is dead after driving off the Washington Island Ferry dock.
Door County sheriff’s officials say they were called to the dock on Highway 42 in the town of Liberty Grove just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Investigators say the only person in the SUV died at the scene.
The highway was closed for nearly eight hours after the incident.
