Police Presence in Green Bay Neighborhood as Officers Attempt to Arrest Suspect

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — There is a large police presence on Green Bay’s east side as officers try to arrest a suspect wanted for criminal charges related to two recently reported disturbances.

On Monday, officers were speaking with neighbors on S. Baird Street about incidents that occurred on Sunday and Sept. 12.

Just after 12:45 p.m. Monday, additional officers were dispatched to the 800 block of S. Baird Street for a 26-year-old Green Bay man making threatening gestures at officers who were in the area.

The public is encouraged to avoid the area at this time.
