(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – There has been some criticism of the Wisconsin Badgers offense after what some have called sluggish performances in their wins over South Dakota and Western Michigan, scoring 28 and 27 points, respectively.
Wisconsin Badgers offensive co-ordinator Phil Longo had a response to that criticism, especially those who expected a high-flying offense.
Said Longo, they’ll do whatever they have to win, even if it means being more conservative.
Longo said that fans can be disappointed about low point totals, but this is about winning.
Longo said there are different expectations between the fans and the team.
The Badgers kick off at 11 Saturday morning against fourth-ranked Alabama at Camp Randall Stadium.
